Accommodations

First Aid in the Park takes place at picturesque Camp Tamakwa, a boat-only access site in Algonquin Provincial Park.

Group Lodging

Shared accommodations with other CWMT course participants of the same gender identity. Each group cabin will have their own bathroom fully equipped with a toilet, shower and sink. Our group cabins range from holding 12 to 26 participants.

If you are an organization and would like your staff to board together, please let us know via email.

Private Cabins

Camp Tamakwa has 7 private cabins, available on a first come first serve basis. All private cabins have their own bathroom, fully equipped with a toilet, shower and sink. Private cabins can sleep 1 to 6 participants.

If you will be attending the course with a small group and would like your own private cabin, please indicate so on the Accommodations Form that will be sent to you upon registration.

Food & Beverage

Staying On-Site

All meals included for on-site participants:

  • Coffee, Tea & Morning Snacks
  • Breakfast
  • Lunch
  • Tootsie Frootsie (Afternoon Snack)
  • Dinner
  • Late Night Snack

Staying Off-Site

You may choose to stay off site and come in for the program daily. Students who choose to stay off-site will have the following meals available during their time at the course:

  • Coffee, Tea & Morning Snack
  • Lunch
  • Tootsie Frootsie (Afternoon Snack)
